Matthew has a strong evidence based orientation having a cognitive behavioural approach to his work. Dr Kumar is a highly qualified specialist. Dr Chong works in the hospital as the Medical Lead in GEM at home, a service that provides geriatric assessment and rehabilitation for older patients at home. She also provides care for older people in complex care clinic and with aged care assessment service (ACAS).

She is passionate in improving the health and quality of life for her patients, advocating for her patients including helping them to stay at home. Her strengths are providing complex care for patients in the community including managing polypharmacy, cognitive impairment, falls and balance, chronic wound care.
